System Security 2009 is just another version of notorious and rogue anti-spyware application called System Security. Despite different name, System Security 2009 uses the same deceptive means for installation and purpose. Once installed, the rogue program usually uses frighten methods to inform that user's PC is infected with spyware, malware or other similar infections.

Once active, SystemSecurity 2009 performs fake system scan and loads enormous amount of pop-up windows. Usually, those notifications state that system is seriously infected. It also displays fabricated security alerts or similar security-related notifications. Of course, the main goal of this parasite is to offer remediation in exchange of payment. However, SystemSecurity2009 is a scam. The rogue is unable to detect and remove any kind of infections, simply because it is an infections itself. It is highly recommended to remove System Security 2009 from the system upon detection.
